Day Thirty

HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY JIA HUI! <3
There is no lesson today because the school is going to bring us to the factory outlet which is opposite the Happy Valley Theme Park and Chengdu to shop! Excited and really looking forward to today’s trip because we seldom go out of school just for shopping. Firstly, we arrived at the factory outlet which looks like Resort World Sentosa due to the design of the area. Most of us had Mac Donald’s for breakfast because we miss fast food! Actually we wanted to have KFC but it was not open yet. I really miss KFC’s breakfast porridge but I bet I will miss our usual breakfast, ‘tung bao’, most. If I ever have a chance I will be glad to come back to Sichuan aerospace polytechnic
again for a visit.
Secondly, we spent about 2 hours to shop around the factory outlet store which was not enough but that’s the scheduled time. The branded sports outlets are really cheap and affordable, somehow i regret not buying more. I totally forget about my siblings and cousins gift which makes me feel even guilty. I feel so bad because I only buy clothes for my friends instead of my relatives. So I decided to go to Guanghan the next few days to shop for them.
Thirdly, we head off to Chengdu city to continue our schedule! Before we do our shopping, we were brought to some famous snack shop for lunch first. The ‘Zhao Shou’ is really awesome, it looks like dumplings but it tastes differently. The porridge is also delicious especially the pumpkin one. Because Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province thus, the shops in Chengdu are more high-class and more expensive. As compared to Singapore, there are only slight differences between the prices and the food in Chengdu unlike Guanghan. During the 3-4 hours of shopping I only bought two T-shirt for my friends, however the others bought a lot of things and some even spent 700 yuan in total. The things are really too expensive, I rather buy them in Singapore so that I can save my luggage space for other useful items such as food.
Lastly after our shopping spree, we were all sent back to school for our own dinner. The purpose of the trip today is just simply shopping, shopping and still shopping. It’s really a tiring day because we are too busying shopping. Everybody just doze off in the bus on the way back to school including myself. Today’s trip really benefited most of us with goods and gifts but it was not enough. We really hope we can go back to the place again because many of them do not have enough time to explore the area.

Did clay mask with Doyle, Marcus, YaoXiong and Shirley before going to bed! It is rather fun to see each other’s faces painted with clay. We look quite retarded because we cannot smile or laugh with the mask. We actually bring entertainment to the others!
